“Life’s persistent and most urgent question is ‘What are you doing for others?’” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
As a child Anne struggled with others telling her she was too empathetic. When she grew older, she realized her empathy was an incredible strength. Empathy allows Anne to fight harder, see farther, speak louder and stand longer on someone else’s behalf. Anne's work at Marguerite Casey Foundation is rewarding and she takes great pride in being the Senior Administrative Partner for Culture & Operations and Programs. Her work extends beyond the Foundation, as she's active in community engagements and those engagements have shaped her social interactions, directed her political activism, and ultimately became the foundation for how she lives life striving to make change possible for others. Anne prides herself on providing strong support to grant recipients, leaders, and the team at Marguerite Casey Foundation.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2014, Anne worked as a Program Assistant at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and as a Donor Relations Coordinator at the University of Washington.
