“Philanthropy is not the work. Philanthropy supports the work.” ― Dr. Starsky D. Wilson
Azuredee values the Marguerite Casey Foundation’s commitment to supporting leaders who work to shift the balance of power in their communities toward working people and families. In her role, she applies that ethos by improving efficiency, ensuring equity, and reducing the burden of the process for our grant recipients. Knowing that we support leaders who are working to dismantle unjust systems is what Azuredee finds most gratifying.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Azuredee worked in the greater Philadelphia area as a grants manager for Pembroke Philanthropy Advisors and in administration at The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.
