As Operations Specialist, Kaitlin reviews, implements, and administers day-to-day finance operations, building capacity for the Foundation through project management and process improvement, and leading contracting processes. Kaitlin enjoys creating efficiencies in operational systems and balancing attention to detail with strategic vision. As a servant leader who aims to dismantle systems of oppression, she is honored to work for an organization that strives to shift the balance of power in society.
Prior to joining MCF in 2020, Kaitlin worked in finance, operations, and data management roles at several nonprofit and arts organizations in Seattle and in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Kaitlin graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with an individualized degree in art and social change and arts administration, with minors in music and social justice.
